Product Information

Organic BT Thuricide Spray by Bonide is a pest control formula safe for edible fruits and vegetables, shade trees, and ornamental plants. This product comes ready to use.

Organic BT Thuricide Spray is an insect-killing product that controls leaf-eating worms and caterpillars. Spray directly on your plants to eliminate these unwanted insects from feeding on and damaging your plants:

  • cabbage looper
  • hornworms
  • tent caterpillar
  • gypsy moth
  • bagworm, and more

Leaf-eating insects are notorious for munching on favorite garden crops like broccoli, cauliflower, kale, mustard greens, eggplant, pepper, melons, tomatoes, and cabbage. This fast-acting formula is sprayed directly on the foliage of your plants. After consuming the insecticide, leaf-eating insects stop feeding and will die within 2-3 days.

Used properly, Organic BT Thuricide Spray does not harm birds, earthworms, or beneficial insects, such as honeybees and ladybugs.

Remember always to identify the insect first and investigate if the damage warrants the use of any product. We encourage growers to look up the insect in question at the UC IPM website to understand its life cycle, damage, and potential cultural controls. This is all part of organic gardening or farming.
