Our Rewards Program
On New Year's Day 2019 we launched our rewards program. This program allows customers to sign up for an account with San Diego Seed Company and track their purchases. Each purchase earns points that can then be used for discounts. This simple program allows us to reward the growers that double down on their belief that seed should be locally produced. It allows us to directly reward those that choose to buy local seed and support small businesses like ours.
To sign up for the rewards program, simply create an account when you purchase seeds from us online. You can create your account on our website. When you sign up for an account you automatically get 100 points. For every 100 points, you get a dollar discount off your purchase. Write a review of our products on our website to receive 200 points. Lastly, for every dollar you spend you will get 5 points. For our best customers, these points add up quickly!
Our Rewards Program
For us at San Diego Seed Company, nothing feels better than rewarding our customers for the support they give us in our endeavor to create local, organic seed that is regionally adapted to Southern California and the American Southwest. We do this in many ways. We teach classes and workshops all over San Diego County to help our growers be the best. We donate thousands of packs of seeds to school gardens, non-profits, and gardeners in need. We open up our farm to community members, and lastly, we listen to our growers about what they want.
Even with all this, we felt like it was not enough. Something was missing. In late 2018 and early 2019 we found out what it was. We needed to reward our best customers for helping us grow and thrive as a small business and community remember. So, we created the rewards program you see here. It’s our way of saying thank you!
