Lupine, Arroyo seed produces spectacular spikes of purple and blue. Lupine flowers are native to southern California very easy to care for. The variety of arroyo is very drought tolerant and fuss-free. Lupine is a must for native and meadow gardens. These seeds can easily be broadcast before the seasonal rains or transplanted out. Lupine is a great cut flower and a fuss-free plant. Soak seeds overnight for the best germination. All parts of this plant are poisonous, including the seeds. Recommended planting requirements: This cool-season flower grows foliage one year and blooms on the second year.  This crop grows about two feet tall. Plant in Full sun. Give special consideration that it will reseed in the garden and possibly choke out other flowers.
