The workshops with Brijette have been so useful to me as a beginner-level gardener. It can be really overwhelming getting started, but she breaks it down so that you can easily digest it and then directly apply it to your garden at home. Definitely recommend and I look forward to future classes!

I only took one day of the beginning gardening but loved it. I also loved the seed swap idea at the end. The potluck is also a great communal piece.

I just took the Beginner Gardener Online Class and absolutely LOVED it. I am a verrrry new gardener and was nervous the class would be over my head. But instead, it made gardening seem very accessible and provided the most important aspects to think about when starting to garden. I’ve always felt like getting into gardening would require sooo much research and money, but this class finally answered the question of where to start! I appreciated that I could ask questions at any time and the other participants asked great questions that I would not have thought of. Overall, if you’re thinking about taking the class–do it! I highly recommend it!

This class is essential to gain foundational principles for successful gardening. Brijette’s deep understanding of this material is matched only by her infectious enthusiasm and passion to share her honed knowledge. I especially appreciated her focus on overcoming regional gardening challenges (no matter the region you find yourself in), resources for gardeners that I didn’t know existed, and efficiency and cost conscious practices for the gardener trying to get the best yield in a small space. Bravo Brijette! I could have avoided some poor outcomes if I had taken the class sooner.

As a very new gardener, this class was a blessing. I feel a lot more confident in starting my fall garden. Having a Zone oriented class really helped me narrow in my concerns about planting in SoCal. Thanks Brijette for make this new kid feel very welcomed.

Total beginner here, and I signed up for the workshop and my only regret is I didn’t attend sooner. Chalk full of evidence-based information, resources, and personal encouragement Brijette loves what she does. Just don’t mention growing brussel sprouts! JK On a more serious note, a beginner like me was encouraged to ask all the questions I had without fear of looking silly. Additionally, the other attendees are encouraging, asking their questions, and having a great time. If you’re on the fence about the class, it is worth every penny! 2 hours for a full 101 class!
